Masters Home Improvement has entered the Home Improvement sector with multi-format stores designed to meet the everyday home improvement needs of consumers. This fresh new home improvement offer will be based on a combination of significant local and international industry expertise; the right range representing value and choice.

We are seeking an Electrical Sales Specialist for our Carrum Downs store. The Electrical Sales Specialists will provide advice on wiring, cabling and light fittings etc to customers and ensure a high standard of customer service and presentation of products in the store. This role is an EBA position, we have a full time and part time role available. This will include some evening and weekend work.

Key responsibilities of an Electrical Sales Specialist includes:

• Ensuring the health and safety of all store associates, customers and contractors within their department
• Provide specialist product advice to customers regarding appliance options
• Impart product knowledge to team members
• Ensure a high standard of customer service and presentation of products in the store in order to maximise sales and exceed customer service expectations

To be considered for this position you will be able to demonstrate capability in the following:

• Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week which may include evenings and late nights and some public holidays
• Previous demonstrated experience in an electrical trade would be highly regarded.
• Demonstrate a strong customer focus and competently deal with customer queries and complaints
• Work in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An eye for detail and a sense of urgency to achieve results
• Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
• Be self motivated and show initiative
• Ability to drive sales and a passion for home improvement
• Project a professional image at all times
